Waste Water Recycling ….Good for the environment, good for HK



The Problem:

All screw products companies are faced with cleaning parts after processing. In the past, HK used solvent based cleaners to remove residual machine oil. Solvent based cleaners are expensive and create costly hazardous waste.

The Solution:

After researching various cleaning technologies, HK selected and installed an aqueous based cleaning system. The aqueous system uses water with heat and light detergent to clean parts.

The Result:

Parts are effectively cleaned in a closed-loop water based system where process water can be filtered and reused creating less hazardous waste. Once again, our hope of minimizing our impact on the environment is realized while creating production efficiency and improved product quality.
